We believe that addressing childhood homelessness in an incredibly important work. We also acknowledge that we cannot do this alone. We need help! We would love to partner with you as we care for children and families in our community. Read below to learn more.

We offer multiple ways to be able to partner with us.

​

• Monthly Donor

  • Become a recurring financial supporter by making automatic monthly gifts that provide reliable funding for housing, prevention services, and family stabilization programs throughout the year. Click here to start giving today!

• In-Kind Donor

  • Donate new or gently used household items, furniture, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, food, school supplies, linens, or other essential items that help families transition into stable housing. Visit this page for some ideas. ​​

• Site Volunteer (Three Houses)

  • Volunteer at one of Family Promise's three transitional housing homes by helping with property upkeep, preparing homes for new families, landscaping, organizing donations, minor maintenance, or welcoming new residents. Reach out to our volunteer coordinator to see how you can help!

• Committee Member

  • Serve on a committee to support fundraising, marketing, finance, governance, program development, or special events by sharing your expertise and helping advance the organization's mission. Reach out to our Board Chair for more information!

• Board Member

  • Provide strategic leadership and governance, help ensure financial sustainability, advocate for the organization, and support long-term planning while serving as an ambassador in the community. Complete this form and email it to cscott@nw.org.​​​​​​​​

• Mentor, Teacher, or Tutor

  • Build relationships with parents or children by providing academic tutoring, life skills coaching, job readiness support, financial literacy, parenting education, or mentoring that helps families achieve long-term independence.

  • We understand that you, your church or corporate organization might like to help but are limited in some of the other ways listed here.
